Just thought I’d share with you an analog hack I did with my iPhone. I went to my local music shop (Long and McQuade) they have instruments, amps, mikes, drums, all of it.
Anyway, for years I thought there must be a way to use a guitar amp as a speaker for my office. I just love the retro look of them.
I needed an adapter for the guitar jack and I wrapped the iPhone dongle in electricians tape to minimize the buzz. And there you go! Huge, full sound. Plus I can take it outside as a party speaker.
